Mason Hill: Announce Debut Album

Mason HillMason Hill have announced details of their long-awaited debut album, “Against The Wall”. The album will be recorded in November at Riverside Studios near Glasgow with release scheduled for 2020. Much of 2019 has been spent writing, rehearsing and refining material for the album and that process is now coming to an end with the band ready to move forward.

The plan is for the album to be self released and the band is keen to move forward and give the fans what they have been waiting for. Lead vocalist Scott Taylor commented –

“We constantly have fans asking us when is the album coming. We thank them for their patience and are so pleased to be able to say that it is now on the way”

In order to fund recording, mixing, promotion, merch and all the other costs of getting the album out the band is running a Kickstarter campaign for funding to supplement existing band funds. Scott added

“ We are putting everything into this and we hope the fans will support the band. We have a series of rewards that offer great value for money, I’m sure there is something for everyone. And everyone who backs the campaign will receive an instant free download of an early recording of the title track, “ Against The Wall”.

The band will be playing 4 gigs in October/ November across the UK when they will showcase the new material alongside some old favourites. These include sell outs at King Tuts in Glasgow and Dragonffli in Wales, with the other 2 gigs, headlines at Gravity Festival in Cannock and Black Heart in London heading the same way.

Going forward into 2020 as well as the album release, there are a number of great gigs lined up including a headline at Rockmantic Festival, an appearance at Planet Rock’s Winters End Festival on the main stage in February, with other very exciting high profile gigs to be announced very soon.
