th pair of chromosomes stamped ‘made by Hendrix’. If an album could generate a ‘Signature Series Guitar’, it would be this. It’s name? ‘The Bi-Polar’. At times, the guitar is caressed into a delightful, delicate thing of beauty, at others, it’s darker, volcanically volatile hostility lurches forth. If your recipe for music includes bass driven riffs, exquisitely volatile guitars seasoned with a hint of psychedelia? Then you might be hard pressed to find a better album this year.
