Continental Lovers, a three-piece band from London formed of Joe Maddox (lead vocals/songwriting) Debbie Dee (bass/background vocals) & Rick Pratt (drums/background vocals), play short, hook-laden trashy Rock ‘N’ Roll songs. The band, who make music which will appeal to fans of The Ramones, Cheap Trick, Joan Jett, Johnny Thunders, The Undertones & Paul Revere & The Raiders, create tunes made up of ‘four chords and the truth’.. although sometimes the truth is made up.
Their new single, Really Doesn’t Matter, is about a girl who is running away from her past, hoping to find a new future where she can reinvent herself. Written during lockdown, it’s the first song off Continental Lovers forthcoming 10″ vinyl E.P, Pink Teeth. which will be out in the Summer.
The song will also be available on 7″ single through Spanish label Snap!! Records in May, with exclusive B sides.
