Steelhouse Festival 2020: First Bands Announced

Steelhouse FestivalSteelhouse Festival is 10! Running from the 24th-26th of July 2020, the Welsh international classic rock festival celebrates a decade of decibels on top of its now infamous mountain top location in South Wales. Having reached this milestone, Steelhouse 2020 looks to be the biggest yet with the announcement of it’s first 6 acts and much more (including both headliners) to come!

Flying in from Philadelphia, Cinderella’s Tom Keifer will be making his Steelhouse debut with a set packed full of songs that made his band a multi-million selling act. Meanwhile Canadian wrecking crew, Monster Truck and Welsh rock-royal and 2020 Rock n Roll Hall of Fame Nominee, Phil Campbell together with his Bastard Sons both make welcome returns. Making it something of a Maple Leaf invasion, Ontario’s buzz-heavy Psych Blues duo, Crown Lands will also appear as well as young English hard rockers, Revival Black making this a truly international mix of artists who join the previously announced (and Planet Rock award-winning), Kris Barras Band.

Promoters Mikey Evans and Max Rhead said, “It’s incredible to be talking about Steelhouse being 10. Sort of like when your kids get to double digits you have no idea how you got this far and you’re staggered it’s gone so fast. There’s been a few tantrums along the way and it’s not always been easy but you can stand back, be somewhat proud and slightly emotional of the darling little cherub they’ve grown up to be. Then you have a massive party to celebrate – and that’s exactly what we’re going to do come the 24th of July 2020′.

Speaking of his upcoming appearance on home soil, Phil Campbell commented, “We can’t wait to play up the Steelhouse mountain once again! I had a great time attending as a punter last year so it’s an honour to be asked back to play for you rockers!”

Talking of their Steelhouse return, Monster Truck’s Jon Harvey stated, “We’re beyond excited to come blast Steelhouse Fest and party in Wales!! I hope everyone is prepared for a face melting.”

Officially the UK’s highest music festival, The Steelhouse Festival will once again be held in the spectacular surroundings of Hafod-y-Dafal Farm on the southern edge of the Brecon Beacons, and bring the finest classic rock artists to the heart of the South Wales Valleys.

Aiming to be the UK’s best value rock festival, and a true family friendly event, the Steelhouse Festival legend goes on – see you at the top of the mountain!
