Following the success of the first WaterBear Royal Blood Scholarship in 2020, the award-winning rock duo have announced that another scholarship will be offered in their name with WaterBear – The College of Music for September 2021. Hailing from Brighton, Royal Blood have an instant connection to the music college which is based in the famous North Laine area of the city.

The Royal Blood Scholarship award will cover all tuition fees for one lucky student throughout their degree studies at WaterBear. The course eligible for the Royal Blood scholarship award is the BA (Hons) Career Musician, which can be studied on-site in Brighton or online through distance learning. This approach gives musicians the flexibility to study in the way that suits them best, wherever they are in the world.
With a commitment to smaller classes, flexible courses, and one-on-one mentoring, WaterBear represents a new approach to higher education.
