Catchy, heavy as fuck riffs, clean guitar tones that melt your mind, harmonic clean vocals mixing with the grizzly uncleans – it’s perfection! ‘Under Fire’ is another top track. What a way to start a song! When a track has that slow build up to something unique? Well, this track has that. A very emotional, positive, heart-felt presence. ‘My Destruction’ had some similarities to Parkway Drive’s ‘IRE’, with the classic rock influence. It’s one of those tracks that just reminds you of where our modern day metal originated from! ‘Lost In The Grey’ is another top track! It sounds like your traditional metalcore, old school Miss May I – reminding you of the old times, the reason you fell in love with this band in the first place. ‘My Sorrow’ is like the delicate flower off the whole album, the perfect touching, emotional, unique but hard-hitting finale. I said before that it would take a lot for Miss May I to dethrone ‘Deathless’, but I think they’ve succeeded! What an album! I highly recommend any metalcore fan to get your ears around this. The details in these ten tracks are incredible. From little Spanish influences, classical influences, delicate guitar riffs, harmonic melodies, old school rock influences, heavy as fuck riffs, different vocal techniques, heart-felt lyrical topics, and even the album artwork is class!… You really can’t go wrong. 10/10.
