What are the origins of the band, and how long have you been playing together?
The band started during Covid, by Stix, and it has taken on many shapes over the years until the lineup you see today.
What should people expect when they check the band out? How would you describe Nymphic?
We are an explosion of aggression and melody with intense rap parts and breakdowns.
How did you feel performing your first gig as a band, and how was it?!
From my personal experience, playing my first show with the guys was honestly such a good feeling. It felt like home straight away.
What are you working on at the moment that people can check out?
We recently dropped our single and video called “Enemy” which is act two of the story.
In terms of a similar audience, which band out there at the minute do you feel you would be best suited to open for?
I’d love to open for Kid Bookie! He’s changing the game at the moment!
Excluding yourself, which new band would you like to see break out and become a success?
We played a show recently with a band called Bind, and I was absolutely blown away. They should be bigger than they are!
What frustrates you about the music business?
Probably the lack of opportunities for small bands to really get their music heard.
What are your first musical memories? And what was the lightbulb moment that made you go “I want to do that”?
Probably for me, it would be singing along and paying air guitar to Queen and Bon Jovi. From the age of 3/4 I knew I wanted to do this.
What was the last gig that you attended as a fan?
Motionless In White at O2 Brixton! What an incredible show!
What current social issue are you particularly passionate about?
There are a lot of issues that I’m personally passionate about, and a lot of it is spoken about in our music! Stix does a great job of making our songs very relevant to the times. If you want to know what we’re passionate about right now, listen to our music!
The album that you have in your album collection/Spotify playlist that would surprise most people?
Probably Take That’s – Beautiful World. Absolute banger of an album!
Everybody is a fan of something. Who or what are you a fan of?
Personally I’m very simple! Fast cars, F1, and LEGO. Oh, and also my cats. I’m a massive fan of them!
What new music have you been enjoying so far this year?
Spiritbox, Architects and Paleface Swiss have all dropped mind blowing albums recently!
