Farewell to Fear (USA)

Farewell To Fear was born out of the huge black hole that mainstream rock radio left during the absence of super rock stars like Metallica, Alice in Chains and Soundgarden. The band revisits an era with big rock riffs, bigger choruses and huge anthems for a new generation of rockers. Their first full-length album New Blood, produced by Brett Hestla (Creed, Dark New Day), generated an incredible three singles on Sirius XM’s Octane channel, a rare feat for an unknown band. As well as landing them at #1 on Amazon’s Hot New Rock Singles chart and #8 on iTunes Rock chart, their debut album also earned them direct support from Howard Stern, including the rarest of moments on Stern’s show… airing an entire song as opposed to the normal 20 second snippet he usually shares. That track, ‘Diamonds’, recently eclipsed 2.4 million streams on Spotify.

Inspired by the overwhelming success of New Blood, Farewell To Fear released their Legacy EP, ultimately allowing them to seamlessly merge their skills and styles together to create heavy rock songs that deliver a strong punch to the gut, while staying melodic and delivering impactful lyrics hitting all ranges and octaves. Farewell to Fear is poised for an explosive 2022 and has already been invited to perform at the Rebel Rock Festival in Orlando, with Five Finger Death Punch, Limp Bizkit, I Prevail, Sevendust and many more!

The Witching Hour (Australia)

All in their teens, THE WITCHING HOUR were committed to forming a band based on their shared passion for old-school rock and began jamming in their garage. With the band’s debut single ‘Lay You Down’ reaching No. 1 on the Triple J Unearthed charts, the band realised something special had come to fruition, and they began taking their music around Australia.

They released two more singles, ‘Under My Skin’ and ‘The Ritual’ but it was their fourth single ‘Sleep With The Stars’ that started to open some bigger doors and receive a solid response on all platforms with airplay in Australia, the UK, Europe and the US. The track was selected by Alice Cooper to be featured on his worldwide syndicated radio program, ‘Nights with Alice Cooper’. In 2021, The Witching Hour have continued evolving by transforming their line-up, with founding member vocalist, guitarist and songwriter Taime Marsh, recruiting a highly acclaimed young-gun bassist, Mitch Teppo, and rhythm guitarist Travis South, (Taime’s lifelong friend). Superstar young drummer Jagger Alexander – Erber from The Kids is filling in on drums until a permanent drummer is found. Rehearsals are under way for their long-awaited Australian tour and coinciding with the release of their fifth single ‘GEN Z’.

Leadfinger (Australia)

The name LEADFINGER was originally a nome de plume for the band’s songwriter/guitarist/hero of the oppressed etc, Stewart ‘Leadfinger’ Cunningham. After first plying his guitar-slinger trade in the late 80’s with Wollongong’s seminal pre-grunge Proton Energy Pills, Cunningham headed to Sydney to play in underground guitar bands – Brother Brick, Asteroid B-612 and Challenger-7 – as well as a stint in Melbourne with The Yes-Men.

After forming LEADFINGER in 2006 as a solo project, it morphed into a twin guitar rock n’ roll band that released its 5th album, Friday Night Heroes, in July 2016 and toured Europe in October 2017. LEADFINGER mine the deep seam of rock’n’roll, back through the 70’s rock and punk eras, to the classic Stones and Dylan records of the 60’s and beyond.

Calvacade (UK)

CAVALCADE are an East London four-piece currently creating waves with their version of blistering indie rock and roll. Packing venues inside the capital with their electric live shows, they have proven that the Cavalcade journey is one to watch.

Cavalcade are made up of Connor Duggan (Lead Vocals/Guitar), Jack Campbell (Lead Guitar/Backing Vocals), Tom Nunn (Bass), and Steve Norris (Drums). Despite starting the band to write and record one song that they could cherish forever, it is safe to say that the band’s success has snowballed since their inception in 2017. Taking their music from local pubs in London, to the Isle of Wight festival, to venues across the UK and even overseas to Gibraltar and Spain – word of the band’s spirited songs and vigorous live shows has spread on an international level.

The Chase (UK)

Hailing from the rebel city of Nottingham, UK, THE CHASE fuse Brit-pop nonchalance with killer 60’s choruses and arena sized rock and roll to make a noise that is truly unique. The Chase have joined several UK contemporaries by signing a deal with burgeoning global rock label Golden Robot Records.

2021 has been non-stop for the band with appearances on the This Feeling Big in 2021 exclusive vinyl release, The Great Escape Festival and a record deal with Golden Robot Records, all making them a force to be reckoned with. Branded as one of the most exciting bands in the UK, The Chase are about to embark on their first ever tour in August 2021. Backed by the likes of This Feeling, Scotts Menswear, Liam Gallagher and an army of rowdy fans, The Chase have been crowned as ones to watch in 2021 and beyond.

Honey Motel (UK)

As the uncut gems of the Liverpool music scene, HONEY MOTEL bring a whirlwind of free-spirited flair to the industry with their infectious melodies and euphoric choruses, accompanied by lyrics filled with power, angst and uncertainty. All this is always delivered with an authentic, Mersey charm.

Made up of Matthew Walker, Sam Meredith, Jack Hughes and Paul ‘Pablo’ Robinson, Honey Motel – est. September 2020 – have since exploded into their sphere with their dynamic indie sound and eccentric energy. Reminiscent of indelible late-night antics, their hallmark sound takes a clever blend of influence from classic indie rock, 80s synth-pop & soul, producing a DNA that’s unmistakably Honey Motel.

Johnny Nasty Boots (Mexico)

JOHNNY NASTY BOOTS is a power trio that reminds us of those bands from the 60s and 70s, while also making rock music for their generation. Just like their favourite bands did, they take the roots of rock seriously, going deep into blues, jazz and rock & roll, adding a modern sound of their own into the mix. To date, they are one of Mexico’s leading rock bands.

Their first album was recorded at Sonic Ranch (Texas), under the production of Grammy award winner Yunuen Viveros, and mastered at Vlado Meller by Jeremy Lubsey. 6 singles came from their debut album Johnny Nasty Boots (2017), as well as their live album Hollywood Affair / Live at the Whisky a Go Go, which was recorded at the iconic venue during their 2019 tour. The band are currently working on new music with producer Pablo Valero, a former member of the legendary Mexican rock band Santa Sabina.

Assassins (Australia)

From 1981 – 1989, ASSASSINS honed their skills around the pumping Melbourne pub scene, developing their distinct rock edge. It was only in 2015 that Craig, Andrew and Eddie’s paths crossed by chance and Assassins sparked a new beginning.

Assassins’ music has been described as an honest, exuberant, ‘wall of guitar sound’ with a proto-punk rhythm section. The vocals stand on the shoulders of the sound, with lyrics that draw from lived experiences and the ebbs and flows of life. It’s with this righteous fervor that Assassins are receiving enthusiastic reviews, both among their grass-roots communities, live and online. Testing the waters on Soundcloud with Confidence track ‘Time Away’, saw the song receive close to 5,000 listens in less than two months. A praiseworthy feat for a band returning to the fold thirty years later.

Poison Boys (US)

According to who you talk to, rock and roll is either dying out, evolving, or back in full swing. In the case of the POISON BOYS from Chicago, they’re pumping new life into the genre and keeping it as punk as possible. Staying true to the sounds of late 1960’s/early 1970’s protopunk bands like The Stooges, New York Dolls, and Flamin’ Groovies, and mixing them with late 1970’s New York and UK punk bands like The Heartbreakers, Dead Boys, The Vibrators, and Slaughter and The Dogs, with a little Hanoi Rocks glam for good measure, the band is a breath of fresh air in today’s punk and rock and roll scene.

With their current lineup of singer/guitarist Matt Dudzik, guitarist Steve Elfinger, bassist Nico Bones, and drummer Matt Chaney, Poison Boys are clearly not slowing down anytime soon, having released some singles and music videos for their upcoming album Don’t You Turn on Me, (‘Nothing but Darkness,’ ‘Dick in the Dirt,’ ‘Can’t Get You Out of My Mind’).
