3TEETH: New Video – "American Landfill"

HERE!. “The director, Matthew Charles Santoro, has been my best friend since 4th grade, so it was really cool to finally be able to work on something together,” says 3TEETH vocalist Alexis Mincolla. Santoro’s credits include the visual effects on “X-Men Origins: Wolverine,” “The Incredible Hulk,” “300” and numerous other films. Mincolla continues: “We wanted to make an homage to the ‘90s action movies we grew up on but we also wanted to make an allegory that touched on today’s concepts of surveillance, cyberspace, and exploring the relationship between reality and simulation. To me the landfill represents a giant sentient data dump who’s algorithmic understanding is just trapping you in the echo chamber of your very own inescapable memetic conception camp. It doesn’t matter if it’s cyberspace or reality, no one escapes the ‘AMERICAN LANDFILL.’” The band recently announced a European trek with Ministry: MINISTRY EU|UK SUMMER 2019 Special Guests: 3TEETH 30.06.19 (DE) Berlin – Huxleys 02.07.19 (UK) Bristol – SWX 03.07.19 (UK) Glasgow – SWG3 04.07.19 (UK) Birmingham – o2 Institute 06.07.19 (UK) London – o2 Shepherd’s Bush Empire 07.07.19 (F) Paris – La Machine du Moulin Rouge 09.07.19 (DE) Oberhausen – Kulttempel 10.07.19 (CZ) Prague – Roxy 11.07.19 (H) Budapest – A38 3TEETH released their self-titled debut album in 2014, seeing the 14-track collection top the iTunes electronic charts and gaining the outfit widespread attention, both amongst music lovers and musicians, leading to the band’s opening slot on two legs of Tool’s 2016 North American tour.
