Tons Of Rock Festival: Celebrates 10th Anniversary With A Stellar Line Up: Metallica, Tool, Judas Priest and More

Beneath the dancing hues of the Northern Lights, Norway’s stunning natural wonders come alive. Amidst the serene fjords and lush landscapes, a different kind of magic unfolds – the electrifying energy of metal music. Every year, at Norway’s biggest music festival Tons of Rock Festival, metalheads from across the globe converge to celebrate their passion.

This year Tons Of Rock celebrates its 10th anniversary and is celebrating in style by inviting real legends of rock and metal: Metallica, Judas Priest, ZZ Top, Tool, Europe, Saxon, Greta Van Fleet, Extreme to name just a few. The festival takes place in Oslo from 26th June to 29th June 2024 and it promises to be a unique and unforgettable experience.

Festival CEO Jarle Kvåle commented: “We couldn’t be more pleased with our headliners for our ten-year anniversary Legends, icons and the new blood of rock and metal united. It will be an amazing four-day party”. He then continues: “Bringing Metallica to Norway to celebrate our 10th year is indescribable. International stars like Metallica, TOOL, Judas Priest, Greta Van Fleet and Parkway Drive mixed with Norwegian national treasures like Satyricon, Abbath performing a unique Immortal set and our Swedish neighbors Opeth doing a fan-picked set is an absolute dream line up”.

In 10 years, Tons of Rock has become Norway’s biggest festival and the big, annual meeting point for all rock and metal fans in the country. In 2023 the event recorded an all time high welcoming over 100,000 fans from 72 different countries. The festival is now experiencing a booming interest from all around the globe and 2024 will be the biggest and loudest edition to date.
