THOSE DAMN CROWS reveal expanded Inhale/Exhale plans

One year on from the band’s triumphant #3 UK Top 40 Album ‘Inhale/Exhale’, South Wales’ modern rock merchants THOSE DAMN CROWS now take the tempo down and showcase their mellower side, proving soothing sounds can still rock!

A new, expanded edition of that album will be released on April 5th, 2024, via Earache Records, and features 7 previously unheard bonus tracks, in addition to the original track list in full, on CD format and with new artwork.

‘Inhale/Exhale (Expanded Edition)’ offers new, unheard, acoustic and piano re-workings of fan favourites across ‘Inhale/Exhale’ plus one tune – “Set In Stone (Acoustic Version)” – taken from their previous album ‘Point Of No Return’.

One highlight is the soul-stirring “This Time I’m Ready (Piano Version)”, which brings new gravity to the beloved ballad that both wrenches the heart and uplifts the soul. Additionally, the expanded edition presents fans with new kick-ass versions of select ‘Inhale/Exhale’ tracks now mixed by legendary LA producer Jay Ruston (Meat Loaf, Stone Sour, Black Star Riders).

The bonus material culminates in a momentous 8-minute live rendition of their landmark anthem “Blink Of An Eye”, giving fans a front row spot at the band’s sold-out Chepstow Castle show back in August 2022.

The expanded edition is available to pre-order on CD now and is packaged in revamped artwork, featuring eye-catching, fairground carousel alternate cover art, shown below.

ABOUT THOSE DAMN CROWS:

THOSE DAMN CROWS have gone from strength to strength since achieving an official UK Top 15 Album with their second record ‘Point Of No Return’ [2020], even winning Bridgend Mayor’s Annual Citizenship Award in recognition of bringing the community together via their popular regular videocast, CrowCast.

In between their main stage slot at Download Festival 2022 and selling out headline shows at the likes of Cardiff Castle, THOSE DAMN CROWS created a new album that elevates their signature hard-hitting rock to dizzying new heights. ‘Inhale/Exhale’ whips up a storm of atmospheric hard rock that sees Shane’s trademark rousing lyricism delivered with molten-smooth melodies and ever-passionate emotion, backed by drummer Ronnie Huxford’s earth-quaking percussion, guitarists Ian “Shiner” Thomas and David Winchurch’s twin-attack of rampaging riffs and glacial auras, and bassist Lloyd Wood’s juddering bass thunder.

‘Inhale/Exhale’ was recorded at the picturesque Vada Studios (built within a 13th Century chapel amongst 20 acres of rural Warwickshire) and in the beating heart of their Welsh homeland at Giant Wafer Studios, with producer Dan Weller (Enter Shikari, Monster Truck, Bury Tomorrow) and mixer Phil Gornell (Bring Me The Horizon, 5 Seconds Of Summer, You Me At Six) capturing this next evolution of the band. After smashing straight into the UK Official Album Chart at #3 on release, the group hit the road to continue their enviable ascent, dominating everywhere they played and leaving fans eager for more. A new, expanded edition of the record will be released on April 5th, 2024.
