Rockin The Bowl Music Festival Rebrands as Destination Festival and Announces Headliner

Rockin’ the Bowl music festival rebrands as Destination Festival, announces new venue, and welcomes headliners – high-energy Swedish rockers H.E.A.T.

The much-loved Rockin’ the Bowl music festival is embarking on an exciting transformation, rebranding as Destination Festival to usher in a fresh chapter of live music experiences. This evolution celebrates the festival’s growth and introduces a stunning new home, The Forge Warehouse in Sheffield promises an unforgettable day of rock on Saturday 12 September 2026.

Destination Festival builds on the legacy of Rockin’ the Bowl, which has captivated music fans with its vibrant line up of rock, metal and alternative acts since its inception. The rebrand reflects the event’s evolution into a must-attend destination for music lovers, blending high-energy entertainment with Sheffield’s rich industrial heritage at The Forge Warehouse – a venue known for its raw, atmospheric vibe and top-tier acoustics.

‘We’re thrilled to announce this rename and relocation as a bold step forward,’ said Festival Director Steve Hughes. ‘Destination Festival isn’t just a name change; it’s about creating a true destination where fans can immerse themselves in incredible music, community, and culture.’

The first wave of artist announcements dropped on Friday, 19 September 2025, teasing an eclectic mix of sub-headliners and emerging talents, including Classic Rock-nominated Chez Kane, NWOCR favourites EMPYRE and Italy’s own force of nature, Dobermann, plus many others. Early bird tickets sold out in less than 2 hours! As usual, we don’t like to keep secrets from our supporters, and just a week later, our line-up is now complete, topped by the irrepressible power of H.E.A.T.

Yet to come, Friday night warm-up gig line-up announcements. Keep an eye on social media @rockinthebowl.
