Review: Idlewar – 'Impulse'

that band (Led Zep). The groove and melody just have my foot tapping in so many involuntary ways. The raw production comes through again in a very positive way that keeps things live and real. I guess by now you can tell that I have royally enjoyed this album. Those infectious grooves and the nod to every band I have ever loved, combined with the stripped back production that leaves it all up to the musicians, and, by God they deliver in full. For a debut album, this is superb. Well worth every penny of anyones pocket money. Dare I say,  a classic in the making! I really hope I get the chance to fly home over the winter and catch them on tour.
