Mason Hill: New Single – “Find My Way”

“A prodigious talent that belies their fledgling years” (Planet Rock)

Hotly tipped Glaswegian rockers, Mason Hill, have released their latest explosive new single “Find My Way” via 7Hz Recordings (ADA). Following quickly on the heels of their successful September launch, the new track is a slice of supercharged high octane alternative rock with pummelling guitar riffs, infectious chorus, and a classic shredding solo from prodigy guitarist James Bird.

In the month since their debut album pre-order launch, the band have continued to pick up some great rock streaming activity with over 110,000 streams on their last single Against The Wall as well as the Planet Rock radio playlist, key rock magazine, and radio station support in Germany and France, including over 250 European airplay spins.

“Find My Way” is available now on all the usual streaming services and is accompanied by the lyric video above.

Lead singer, Scott Taylor, has said of the track: “Find My Way is definitely our most ‘Balls-To-The-Wall’ rock track so far. We know from road testing this one that it will get people headbanging and the blood pumping. It’s a track about using anger and determination to get your life back on the right course, something we’ve all had to deal with in one way or another, especially in 2020!”

The new single, taken from their forthcoming debut album also entitled “Against The Wall”, will be released on 5th March 2021. It is now available for pre-order and comes with an incredible 5 limited edition 12” vinyl format versions including a Black 180g, Red, Blue, and Yellow colours as well as an album artwork picture disk. Guitarist James Bird said “We really wanted to create a memorable and collectible physical release package for our debut album. We’ve gone a bit mad and created the ultimate vinyl junkie dream with multiple coloured vinyl versions, a picture disk, bonus tracks and all sorts of weird and wonderful bundles! It’s a far cry from the digital world we all love but it harks back to the smell and touch of old school rock ‘n’ roll”.

Mason Hill’s debut album has been a long time in the making and was recorded in November 2019 at Riverside Studios in Glasgow, with singer Scott Taylor later travelling to New York to track his vocals.

Acclaimed rock mixer Chris Sheldon (Biffy Clyro, The Foo Fighters) took the helm for the mixing and the album is now a highly anticipated new rock album release for 2021.

Mason Hill are Scott Taylor (lead vocals), James Bird (lead guitar), Marc Montgomery (guitar), Matthew Ward (bass) and Craig McFetridge (drums)
