THE KENTUCKY HEADHUNTERS : UK Tour
Following on from last year’s performance at the Ramblin’ Man Fair, Grammy Award-winners The Kentucky Headhunters are set to return to the UK in October, for a handful of shows in support of twelfth album, ‘On Safari’. Released last November by Plowboy Records/Practice House Records, the southern rock LP tips the hat to family and the southern way of life in the USA.
Throughout their envious five decade career, the band have toured the USA extensively, but only ventured to Europe for the first time in 2016. The band credits Richard Young’s son, John Fred, and his Black Stone Cherry bandmates for pushing them out of their comfort zone to make the trek abroad, where many of the Headhunters’ rock influences call home.
