Jayler – new single ‘Riverboat Queen’

JAYLER are a British rock band breathing fire back into the genre – loud, fearless, and built for the stage. Their new single ‘Riverboat Queen’ is a thunderous homage to the golden era of 60s and 70s rock, dripping with swagger, soul, and distortion.

With blues-drenched riffs, pounding drums, and vocals that cut through like a knife, ‘Riverboat Queen’ hits hard and fast. Think Zeppelin’s bite with The Who’s punch refined by a band with no interest in fitting the modern mould.

Lyrically, the track nods to the storytelling traditions of John Denver and Bob Dylan, weaving vivid imagery into its raw, untamed sound.

Recorded at the legendary Vada Studios in Birmingham, built inside a chapel dating back to 1260 and produced by highly regarded UK producer George Perks, the track captures the energy of a live take with zero compromise.

“It’s meant to feel dangerous and a bit out of control,” says frontman James Bartholomew. “We didn’t want it polished. It had to hit like the records we grew up on—raw, fast, and full of attitude.”

Already building a loyal following on the live circuit, JAYLER are making it clear: rock isn’t just alive—it’s roaring.
