What are the origins of Venice Revive? How long have you been performing music?
I started writing music at the age of 17-18, took a while to realize I can write full songs that sound pretty! A little bit of work, and the first single was finally released in April 2023
What should people expect when they check Venice Revive out?
A mix of old & new metalcore with a heavy use of orchestral instruments, we need more metalcore with a violin in the world.
What are you working on at the moment that people can check out?
The debut album is already out, currently recording some covers, and the second album should be released soon, so stay tuned!
In terms of a similar audience, which band out there at the minute do you feel you would be best suited to open for?
Haven’t broken the glass ceiling of the local metal scene yet, there are some amazing bands here that I’d love to open for, like Walkways, The Fading & Shredhead.
Excluding yourself, which new band would you like to see break out and become a success?
The three I just mentioned!
What frustrates you about the music business?
The fact that having great music isn’t enough to succeed today. Need to make tons of TikTok videos and generally have a lot of money to invest before someone notices you.
What are your first musical memories? And what was the lightbulb moment that made you go “I want to do that”?
It actually formed over time. I was writing just to have fun with it before properly going to a producer. Friends really helped me out by complimenting my music, saying I have great potential.
What was the last gig that you attended as a fan?
Local bands called Nightcrusher, DPS, BRCDS & Sinnery are all amazing, and you should really check them out!
What current social issue are you particularly passionate about?
LGBTQA+ rights, ESPECIALLY with Trump back in office.
The album that you have in your album collection/Spotify playlist that would surprise most people?
My friends know I enjoy a wide range of genres in the rock & metal world, just yesterday I switched from All Time Low to Orbit Culture, so I doubt my music taste would surprise anyone.
Everybody is a fan of something. Who or what are you a fan of?
Motorsports, I race in the national kart championship and follow F1, Formula E, and the WEC closely.
What new music have you been enjoying so far this year?
Deadlands, Catch Your Breath, Until I Wake, Our Promise, these are some amazing modern metalcore bands I really enjoy and also try to learn from to make my sound more modern as well.
What does the remainder of 2025 hold for you?
A LOT of recording sessions, so that 2026 could be a fun year for Venice Revive Fans.
How active are you on social media, and where can people connect with you?
As a solo artist who hates TikTok videos, not as active as I’d like. But I’m here, I’m active, I keep my fans up-to-date with stuff, and ALWAYS reply back!
