Introducing: 4ra 4ra

Introducing Czech artist 4ra 4ra, check out the new single ‘Need For Drift’…

What should people expect when they check your music out? How would you describe yourself?

If you want to experience driving energy, madness, and digital dystrophy, I’m a Cyber Pop music producer, singer, and digital artist, who simulates this for you through my music. In my cybercore live shows 3D avatar characters dance with me. I strongly emphasize visuals and always connect my digital art with my cyber pop music. I believe my experimentation in music is more pronounced because I don’t have roots in it. I access music as a designer and I always say that I design the sound more than play the sound.

How did you feel performing your first gig and how was it?!

It was incredible. I had my first live show at the festival, and the people went really crazy. I enjoyed it a lot, even though it wasn’t perfect.

The new music scene is bursting at the seams at the minute with fresh talent, in what ways do you feel that you have to stand out to build a name for yourself?

Consistency is key, but it can be challenging. Sometimes, it’s quite overwhelming when you must curate TikTok, Instagram, etc., almost daily, work as a digital artist, and at the end of the day, you realize that you have no time for making music. I wish for days with 10 more hours or without sleep to catch everything I want to. Good time management skills are a must-have, along with a little workaholic mindset.

What are you working on at the minute that people can check out?

I released the cyberphonk genre song called ‘Need For Drift’. The single is gradually accelerating and reflects the speed and intensity of the race. Additionally, we’re working on a new song collaboration with the German producer Scarlett Scarlett.

In terms of a similar audience, which artist out there at the minute do you feel you would be best suited to open for?

I like to switch genres like Poppy. I’m cyber-oriented like Lucile Croft. And lastly, I’m intense like Zheani.

Excluding yourself, which new artist/band would you like to see break out and become a success?

Yenmania, Gastel, Call Me Sleeper, Bionic Sheep…

What are your own first musical memories? And what lightbulb moment made you go “I want to do that”?

The recessive rap identity got me during my art college years, as I was experimenting with it. I found myself truly passionate about music at that time.

What was the last gig that you attended as a fan?

Brutalismus 3000.

What current social issue are you particularly passionate about?

That the UMG muted TikTok in a bad way. I find it really greedy of the UMG. In a good way – I’d like to watch new possibilities of A.I. tools.

The album that you have in your album collection/Spotify playlist that would surprise most people?

I dunno. It has transformed a lot throughout the years. But I’ve also been into bizarre things, for example, HGich.T, Partiboi69, or I simp for the music choice of the German streamer Crossmauz.

What new music have you been enjoying so far this year?

HANABIE – Reborn Superstar! It’s a very cool metalcore in the Harajuku style. I also like Poppy’s Zig, Wargasm – Venom, CYBERPSYCHOSIS – MoonDeity…

How active are you on social media and where can people connect with you?

I’m pretty active and present on almost every social media site as 4ra 4ra. I’m preparing sick TikTok live streams for the future, so don’t forget to follow. Merch details are to be announced, but it’ll be very cybernetic, with AR or gaming-type collector’s items. I’m planning to digitally draw it myself, so stay tuned.
