Heather Findlay: Christmas Gig/January Tour

Heather FindlayHeather Findlay has announced a special Christmas show in York on 20th December, plus a full band ‘Wild White Horses’ tour in January 2020.

Joining her in the line-up are long time band mates on guitar Martin Ledger & Simon Snaize, and on bass Stu Fletcher. Wild White Horses drummer Dave McCluskey (of The Quireboys / The Union) joins Heather and co along with Emily Lynn, backing vocalist with Aussie Floyd & Thunder joining the band on keys & vocals. US native and one-time, Nashville Findlay drummer / vocalist Adriana Thomas completes the line-up on backing vocals & percussion.

“I am so happy to be hitting the road really soon with such a great team! My band mates and I have all been working behind the scenes on turning the album into a beautiful live experience and I’m now super excited to hear everyone in one room bringing the whole thing to life!”

First up is Heather’s annual Christmas show in her hometown of York. After the success of last year’s performance at the beautiful NCEM, Heather will return there this year for for another “Heather Findlay & Friends” show on 20th December.

“The Christmas show will be a bit different to the rest of the tour in January. I love making the Christmas show really magical, nostalgic and unique, so there’s a slightly different line-up which reflects that. We have Sarah Dean joining us on harp and other wonderment for this show, and both her and our special guest Annie Donaghy who is opening the show will join us on vocals too. As ever, this hometown one is billed ‘& friends’ as a couple of secret unannounced guests will join us too, which will be a great way to launch the tour!”

Wild White Horses achieved number 10 in the official independent album charts in the first week of its release in July and single ‘Here’s To You’ was championed by Planet Rock Radio in the weeks that followed.
