Featured Band: Bad Touch

If your tastes are for classic rock… the likes of Rolling Stones, Black Crowes, The Faces, or The Answer, you need to hear Bad Touch now! This Norwich-based band are one of DGM’s ones to watch for a glittering career. We caught them live twice in the last year, and they blew us away each time.

They have two albums out, but it is the 2015 release “Half Way Home” that is set to propel them above and beyond the busiest support band in the land. There is definitely a 70’s vibe, but these guys are right in the here and now. The groove is 10 feet deep, and the swagger is like John Wayne on PCP.

They are as tight live as the jeans worn, and sung about, by the band. They have an outstandingly talented and eccentric vocalist in Stevie, the Salvador Dali of soulful tunes. As much as they are completely focused and professional in their approach, they are good-time guys, who know how to have some fun and will always be found out by the merch stand after the show.

They supported The Answer earlier this year, slotted in perfectly, and worked the crowd into a frenzy for Cormac and the boys. They are also booked for the Snakecharmer UK tour in November, so if they are playing your town, go check them out, as this will be a cracking night all round, as Snakecharmer are an excellent band made up of ex Whitesnake members and the one-and-only ‘Arry from Thunder.

So if you like your rock with a touch of soul, a sprinkling of Blues and whole lot of fun, you will not be disappointed by Bad Touch. We recommend this band without reservation. A class act with some amazing songs and a great stage presence. We cannot rate them highly enough.
