Black Star Jackals: New Single – Party People

Described by A&R Factory as a “melodically gifted powerhouse”, Glasgow based Black Star Jackals burst on to the scene in 2019 with debut single Maybe winning great critical acclaim. The band then went on to win the Scottish final of the Soundwaves Music Competition. Since then the alt-rock 4 piece have quickly garnered new fans, radio airplay, and positive reviews from industry professionals thanks to their infectious melodies and hard rock vibes. Their last single Always The Same surpassed all expectations and featured heavily across radio including the likes of BBC Introducing and Amazing Radio, and it also received more plays across Spotify and YouTube than any of their previous releases.

New single, Party People is released on Friday 15th January. Pre-save link – https://show.co/75rVx3I

The band are: Kieran McFarlane (vocals/guitar) Steven Joseph (guitar/vocals) Callum MacPherson (drums) Max Lamprecht (bass)

The band went into Venice of the North studios with ambitions to create a melodically infectious dance song with a gritty guitar-driven bite. What they ended up with, was a hook so infectious you can’t stop yourself from singing. A beat so pounding you resist the urge to move. The uplifting riffs are haunted by vocals delivered through a forked tongue. Sang from the point of view of one’s inner demons, the lyrics are joined by a rhythm section hell-bent on compelling you to join the party, and dance away your dreams.

This is Party People, and Black Star Jackals are here to bring rock music back to the mainstream!
