Kyoshi Station: New Single Out Now

Kyoshi Station were born from the swirling mist of melody, harmony, beats and riffs that were generated during the downtime of ‘lockdown’ in the summer of 2020. The Edinburgh 5 piece indie-rock group distil their influences into a mixture of powerful riff driven songs and extended psychedelic jams. Debut single ‘Butterfly’ (watch the video above) was picked up by a number of national and international radio stations and the feedback was encouraging and gave the band a platform to release their second single.

New single ‘Impostor’ is available here: https://kyoshistation.ffm.to/theimpostorradioedit

“Unless you’re some sort of sociopath, we’ve all had a feeling of doubt in our own abilities. Whether it’s your performance at work, your social setting, relationships, or your confidence in something you have created – we all get the feeling that we are the impostors and at any moment our lie will be discovered. This song tries to make you see that because everyone feels like an impostor, you never really are.” – Kyoshi Station

Impostor was recorded as part of the home lockdown sessions that fill the rest of the album. The song is topped by an immense slide guitar solo (check out the album version for the full length solo).
