Wayward Sons announce MuddiBrooke for UK Tour + Planet Rock Band Contest

Wayward Sons have announced grunge rock power trio Muddibrooke as guests on their upcoming UK tour this January PLUS an exciting Planet Rock contest that gives local bands and artists an opportunity to open the shows.

The band says: “We’re delighted to announce Derby power trio Muddibrooke as main support on all the Wayward Sons January shows. We have always been advocates for new music and given the amount of talent out there at the moment it is a delight to have one of the brightest of the bunch on tour with us.

In-line with our ethos we have teamed up with Planet Rock to also invite new bands within a 50 mile radius of each of the show towns to submit one song in MP3 format/band photo/social media links to the email below from which we will choose an opening act.

NB: Please state clearly which show you wish to be considered for and include relevant contact details. Submissions will close midnight on the 1st December 2024.

We can’t wait to hit the road in January and with a package of great new bands to boot. Good luck to all bands and see you there! ” – The Sons

Playing songs from their three acclaimed albums and some surprises too, Wayward Sons will undertake their first tour since Covid interrupted the ‘Even Up The Score’ run which sold out on many shows.

Wayward Sons consist of Toby Jepson on Lead Vocals and Guitar, Lead Guitarist Sam Wood, Drummer Phil Martini and Bassist Nic Wastell.

Expect lots of energy, melody and the Sons unique brand of noise and participation that make their shows such an event.
