WAILING BANSHEE announce new single ‘Tempest’

The storm approaches. WAILING BANSHEE’S thunderous new single ‘Tempest’ heralds a new era for the NWOTHM inspired five-piece.

WAILING BANSHEE earned their stripes the hard way. Riff by riff, with blood, sweat and tears, they carved out a loyal following in the UK’s underground Heavy Metal scene through nonstop touring and the release of their breakout EPs ‘Worlds Apart’ and ‘Fight To Be Free’. Combining their old-school Heavy Metal influences with boundless passion, this frenetic five-piece aren’t trying to reinvent the wheel, they’re fortifying it! With a relentless rhythm section, high-voltage twin guitars and in-your-face showmanship, Wailing Banshee’s live shows have become a must-see event, and their Traditional Metal Revival is only growing stronger!

“Tempest” marks a powerful shift in the tides for heavy metal five-piece WAILING BANSHEE. Produced by sonic alchemist Ben Gaines (The Audiomage) and featuring striking artwork from Very Metal Art (KK’s Priest, Tygers of Pan Tang, Fury), this thunderous new single launches the band into a darker, more visceral era. High-voltage twin guitars thunder with electric fury, as the vocals roar like a storm tearing through the void – a sonic tempest that refuses to be ignored. The lyrics dive deep into the struggle of staying afloat under the weight of depression, a relentless battle captured vividly in its cinematic music video, filmed at the iconic Tank Space. Amid a raging thunderstorm, the band unleashes their fury, while haunting underwater visuals reveal the vocalist chained beneath the surface.
