About Take Today Originally forming at music college in 2012, Glasgow quintet Take Today come armed with all the tools of what a successful rock band needs in the 21st Century. Frontman Paul Daly’s distinctive Scottish accent draws parallels with bands such as Twin Atlantic and their heavy guitar and bass riffs have been compared to the likes of Royal Blood and Nirvana.
