The wait is over! Firevolt is pleased to announce the first 15 bands for 2027 to whet the appetites of hard rock fans everywhere.
Now in its sixth year, the festival continues to grow exponentially, and the anticipation is for that trend to continue next year, especially because, for the first time, there isn’t a clash with the weekend of Bloodstock.
After the incredible summer that celebrated the 5th milestone, there is another promise of a full-throttle onslaught of face-melting rock, mainly consisting of bands rocking out to their first Firevolt experience, along with a couple of past fan favourite performers to celebrate the weekend.
The current announcements pack a meaty punch as the legendary, early 90s alt rockers, Terrorvision top the bill, a band that many Firevolters have waited patiently to grace the stage over the years, which now becomes a mouth-watering reality. You can be sure this will prompt a surge in sales of a certain Mexican beverage at the bar. 1980s American fiery hard rockers, Tyketto will bring an element of nostalgia for the more seasoned fans. They are joined by fellow Americans, Crobot, whose hard/stoner rock will provide a stimulating tonic to proceedings. Heavy metal gurus, The Raven Age, are also new to Firevolt and are nailed on to spark an arousal of enticement, given the Iron Maiden connection, that is set to explode across the arena once they take to the stage.
Other newcomers to be welcomed to the festival are UK Glam Rock extraordinaire, Bobbie Dazzle, who is sure to be a spectacle, given her comparisons to being a Ziggy Stardust mutation. Hamburg rockers Velvet Rush are on the bill, delivering their modernised, edgy and powerful 70s-inspired hard rock. Australian family outfit, Sisters Doll, will bring the influence of classic 70s and 80s rock with them as they glide between the hard, glam and pop rock genres.
As well as returning past Firevolters, We Three Kings and Liberty Slaves, we will welcome the likes of Anchor Lane, Wucan, King Kraken, Soho Dukes, JoanOvArc and Losing Light, giving the early band release a fresh and tantalising look.
With 15 bands now announced, plenty more exciting announcements are in the works to lure and intrigue fans. Firevolt 2027 is already shaping up to deliver another diverse mix of epic rock music that satisfies both classic and new generational fans, uniting legendary stalwarts with the genre’s upcoming stars, all backdropped within a visually stunning venue that creates one of the most atmospheric festivals around.
