Their first full UK tour in almost a decade is almost upon us, so what better time for Breed 77 to drop a new single?! The Gibraltan / UK flamenco metal maestros have released new single “Just Act Like You Know” today, the 18th of November, partway through their UK tour that began a few days ago on the 15th of November.
The first two singles since their return – End Of The Line and Outside – have been heralded as an immediate return to form, and Just Act Like You Know is no different. A huge chorus with equally huge riffs, underpinned by that flamenco classical guitar sound that Breed 77 are so well known for – designed to warm metal hearts as the nights get colder.
Just Act Like You Know can be streamed on your platform / app of choice on this link.
For some more about the new single, hear it from the band themselves:
“The inspiration for this track comes from the madness the world descended into during the pandemic and it’s aftermath; the protests, the riots, the wide-spread paranoia. Everyone was confused and scared but some pretended to be confident and spread misinformation and hate… All the while ‘just acting like they knew’ what was going on when in reality they were just as confused and scared as the rest of us.”
Back in the Spring, Breed 77 proved they hadn’t lost a step despite a decade away from live shows. Headlining Uprising Festival, and a handful of other headline shows, the fan reaction was off the scale; It was if they had never been away. On the strength of this reaction, Breed 77 are heading back out on the road in November!
This new tour will take in several towns and cities they were not able to visit on the last run. With the powerful live force that is Red Method joining them on this run as special guests, this will be one of the best metal tours of the UK this side of Christmas!
The tour kicked off on the 15th of November in Glasgow and takes in seven shows in total, finishing off at The Victoria in Swindon on the 22nd. With four shows to go, details of the remaining tour dates can be found below:

A big part of Breed 77’s return has been the reception to the fantastic single Outside. With the classic Breed 77 sound at the core but with some modern touches, it has been extremely well received by fans and press alike.
To find out a bit more about their new single, we hand over to Breed 77 themselves:
“Outside is a foot-stomping anthem built on slabs of guitars, pounding bass, driving rhythm and soaring vocals delivering the message that it’s OK not to fit in, to feel like a misfit in today’s society. With all that’s going on in the world – from politics to people’s attitudes and values – it’s OK to feel alienated from all the chaos that you encounter daily.”
Outside is available to stream on your platform of choice on this link.
Outside was preceded by Breed 77’s first new song in ten years, the equally excellent End Of The Line, which you can check out on this link.
Heading into next year, Breed 77 are delighted to have been announced for the 2025 Bloodstock Open Air Festival. Part of the nineteen bands in the first announcement, Breed 77 are going to be entertaining the masses at Catton Hall as the special guests on the Sophie Lancaster Stage on Saturday night. The line up has since been expanded to add even more amazing bands. Weekend tickets are currently sold out – with the last batch going on sale on November 5th!
About Breed 77
Originally formed just before the turn of the millennium, Breed 77’s unique flamenco metal sound has won them legions of fans and seen them tour all over the world throughout the 2000’s and 2010’s. Their breakthrough album Cultura stands the test of time today as one of the finest metal albums of the mid 2000’s, offering something that truly hadn’t been heard before. Singles like World’s On Fire and The River have as much fire to them today as the day they were released.
Having played with such metal luminaries as Machine Head, Life Of Agony and KoRn and taken to the stage at events like the UK’s Download Festival and SXSW in the US, Breed 77 have delivered on the biggest stages around the world. Huge favourites in their dual home of Gibraltar, the band have played to enormous crowds as part of national celebrations in Gibraltar twice (including taking a break from their hiatus in 2017 to be a big part of the Tercentenary celebrations). Hints of the band reactivating first surfaced towards the end of the COVID-19 pandemic, with the band bursting back to full life at the beginning of 2024. The reception to their comeback shows, including headlining Uprising Festival, and first two new singles – End Of The Line and Outside, has been overwhelmingly positive. They are finishing 2024 with a big blast; more new music, and a huge UK tour. 2025 is set to be even bigger, with a new album, their Bloodstock Festival appearance, and much more!
