Black Water Redemption have announced the release of their debut album, self-titled Black Water Redemption, arriving on 2nd October 2026, alongside a run of UK headline dates and the release of their brand-new single, ‘Ride Or Die’, available now on all streaming platforms.
The track follows earlier single ‘Stand For Something’ and offers another taste of the band’s forthcoming debut full-length record. Fans will have the opportunity to hear the album first at an exclusive pre-release launch show at The Bear Cave, Bournemouth, on 25 September, ahead of its official release.
A UK headline tour will follow in October, taking in dates in Cardiff, Wolverhampton, Manchester and Newcastle.
Building a reputation for delivering a modern, groove-driven take on hard rock, Black Water Redemption combine the weight and attitude of classic rock with contemporary energy and razor-sharp musicianship. Their sound is built on powerful riffs, memorable hooks and songs designed to make their biggest impact in a live setting.

Formed from the ashes of Western Sand, the band re-emerged in 2022 under the Black Water Redemption name with a renewed sense of purpose and a fresh creative direction. Years of experience on the road have seen members share stages with the likes of Black Star Riders, Michael Schenker, Inglorious and Skid Row, helping to forge the band’s reputation as a formidable live act.

Speaking about new single ‘Ride Or Die’, guitarist Tyler Hains says:
“The song came together really quickly between myself and Dan. We wanted something that would raise the tempo in the set and get people moving. The solo was one of the most fun I’ve ever written and I was channeling my inner Zakk Wylde, although maybe the Temu version!”
“Adam came up with the title and the concept. It’s about a relationship that’s a little unhinged but fiercely loyal, a real Thelma & Louise vibe. In many ways, ‘Ride Or Die’ reflects the mentality of this band. This is what we do, and it’s all or nothing.”
Reflecting on the journey towards the album, Tyler adds:
“A year ago, Dan and I were sitting in a pub wondering if it was time to call it a day. We had no drummer, no singer and no clear plan. Instead, we decided to keep writing and create the music we’d always wanted to make, with no expectations and no limitations.
Within a few months we’d written and recorded an entire album, brought in the incredible Chris Allan on drums and then Adam joined the band. We’d known Adam for years and always knew what an amazing voice he had. The moment we heard him on the first track, we knew we’d found something special.”
“We wanted this album to be a true reflection of who we are, our influences, our playing and our love of proper hard rock. Big riffs, guitar solos, huge choruses and the occasional rock scream. Hopefully it’s something people can connect with and join us on this journey.”
