London-based rising metal crew TEMPEST SAINT continue their ascent with the release of their thunderous new video for the track, The Cursed. Meet the band, below:
What are the origins of the band? How long have you been playing together?
We (Tempest Saint) formed in January 2023, from the Remaining members of Vixen X, and Joe Curtis, who was in Paradigm and Mariner’s Rime back then.
What should people expect when they check the band out? How would you describe Tempest Saint?
Traditional Metal (aka Heavy Metal). Good ole’ fashioned headbanging metal, with passion and musical ferocity. Recently, we’ve been humorously described as “Judas Van Snake”, which sums up our Judas Priest, Van Halen, and Whitesnake core – sound very well, but we’re also inspired by Living Colour, Tygers of Pan Tang, Skid Row, and Badlands, to name a few.
How did you feel performing your first gig as a band, and how was it?!
Pretty good! We all felt amazing to finally play live together after 4 months or so of rehearsing and writing. It was at the Horn, a historic music venue in St Albans, Hertfordshire. We played with Albion and Skarlet Envy (The last of whom our new, current drummer, also plays for).
What are you working on at the moment that people can check out?
We just released our debut album “Hyperbolized” and we’re in the process of releasing music videos for it, alongside recording new music, and touring the UK.

Regarding a similar audience, which band do you feel that Tempest Saint would be best suited to open for?
There are some great bands in the UK Trad-Metal Scene right now: Tailgunner, Battleborn, KK’s Priest, Fraxure, Rattlesnakes, Wailing Banshee, and many more. We’d happily open for any of them!
Excluding yourself, which new band would you like to see break out and become a success?
We’re quite lucky in that we’ve seen a lot of the bands around us get very big lately, but if we had to single one out, it’d be Heathen Kings. They’re extremely dedicated and talented, and deserve
all the successes that come with it.
What frustrates you about the music business?
The backstabbing and the lack of financial integrity. Musicians need to stand up for their craft, and for each other. Fair pay for fair work.
What are your first musical memories? And what lightbulb moment made you say, “I want to do that”?
The person answering this is our vocalist, Joe, and for me, It was hearing Eric Adams from Manowar sing Heart of Steel live in the 1980s on YouTube. Amazing voice.
What was the last gig that you attended as a fan?
I actually can’t remember! I go to loads.

What current social issues are you particularly passionate about?
Sensational Divisivism, it pollutes all areas of today’s society, mostly via social media, and it’s causing a lot of problems and disillusionment between ordinary people that has no good reason
being there.
The album that you have in your album collection/Spotify playlist that would surprise most people?
The Legacy Collection Vol.1 by Spacewave artist Dynatron.
Everybody is a fan of something. Who or what are you a fan of?
Rob Halford, we must protect him at all costs.
What new music have you been enjoying so far this year?
Kardinal X’s latest two singles they’re straight fire, man!
What does the rest of 2025 hold for you?
Recording songs, finishing our tour, and a damn good rest.
How active are you on social media, and where can people connect with you?
We’re active on Instagram, TikTok, Facebook, and YouTube. Just search for Tempest Saint!
