SOULWEAVER – HIGH-ENERGY ROCKERS

Melody-driven power trio emerges from hiatus with new music, new momentum, and a reinvigorated fire.

SOULWEAVER ARE BACK — AND THEY’RE LOUDER, SHARPER AND MORE DYNAMIC THAN EVER. After an eight-year hiatus, UK-based rock/metal trio Soulweaver are back in full force, reigniting the fire that made them one of Britain’s most dynamic and melody-driven underground rock acts. Originally formed in 2009 by real-life rock ‘n’ roll power couple

Goodge (lead guitar & vocals) and ‘M’ (bass & backing vocals), the band now welcomes powerhouse drummer James Barber, whose addition injects a bold new rhythmic engine to Soulweaver’s high-octane sound.

Known for blending arena-ready riffs, anthemic choruses, and progressive touches with an unmistakable classic British rock spirit, Soulweaver’s return is marked by the release of their much-anticipated comeback single ‘Red’, due this June — the first in a series of new tracks leading up to their next full-length album in 2025.

A track born of passion, perseverance, and the kind of lived-in rock experience you can’t fake, ‘Red’ is a bold statement of intent. Expect massive hooks, melodic firepower, and that signature Soulweaver fusion of hard rock grit and modern metal urgency.

Speaking about the dates, Soulweaver commented: “We (Soulweaver) are extremely excited for this awesome weekend of gigs in Cambridge, London and Swindon. We’ve been wanting to play with Gypsy’s Kiss for ages. A great band, top of the Iron Maiden family tree, and we go way back with Pearl Handled Revolver. An amazing act with a unique style and a great new album out now. This is a weekend not to be missed. An awesome lineup! See you at the front!”

This run promises to remind fans and newcomers alike why Soulweaver have shared the stage with the elite, having previously supported Wishbone Ash, Alabama 3, Stray, Praying Mantis, Chris Slade (ex-AC/DC) and performed alongside Nazareth, FM, The Quireboys, Black Star Riders and more.

WHO ARE SOULWEAVER? Goodge – Lead Guitar & Vocals: Soulweaver’s founder, riff master and emotive frontman. ‘M’ – Bass & Backing Vocals: Thunderous low end and melodic harmonies, holding the groove with ferocity. James Barber – Drums: New blood behind the kit, bringing powerful energy and precision. Together, they deliver a sound that draws on the raw attitude of The Almighty, the melodic bite of Foo Fighters, the anthemic punch of Green Day, and the musical ambition of Rush and Iron Maiden. It’s classic rock DNA with a modern adrenaline rush.

ALREADY CRITICALLY ACCLAIMED With global radio play, a growing army of fans, and a reputation for storming live shows, Soulweaver have proven their mettle on countless stages. Their earlier work earned acclaim for its heartfelt songwriting and gritty musicianship — but this new chapter is something else entirely.

WHAT TO EXPECT Expect dynamic performances, prog-tinged musicianship, and hook-laden rock that stays with you. Soulweaver don’t deal in nostalgia — they bring the spirit of classic rock kicking and screaming into the now.

If you like your music fierce, emotional, and loud enough to rattle your bones, this is your band.

“They Are An Awesome Live Band… So Much Energy… You Just Cant Help To Be Drawn In” ARFM SOUNDSCAPES“. Very Impressive, Cracking Band” – TOTAL ROCK RADIO.

“They’ve got a certain something” DAVE LING OF CLASSIC ROCK MAGAZINE/METAL HAMMER.

“The venue was packed with fans excited to see the band, after an 8-year hiatus….so good that we all bought the CD. This trio make more noise than any big band, sometimes soft and ballad-like, then hard and heavy…they were treated to a standing ovation from us all” – METALTALK (March 2024).

PEARL HANDLED REVOLVER: CLASSIC, GROWLY BLUES-ROCK WITH AN IRRESISTIBLE GROOVE

Pearl Handled Revolver have travelled a long way to get to 2025, thankfully, over the last decade they have released five studio albums, four EPs and two live albums that chart a journey from the limits of primal blues, via unlikely liaisons between cult film scores and psychedelic rock. The band have performed countless high energy live shows and festivals across UK and Europe, building a strong and loyal fan following.

‘Imagine a late-night tavern, exotically scented smoke in the air, Aleister Crowley and Anton LaVey in the corner booth, with Absinthe and out of body experiences on the menu. Pearl Handled Revolver would be the house band.ʼ – Rhythm Magazine

“Think Nick Cave taking a giant bong hit with Pink Floyd” – Classic Rock Magazine

‘People often deride the blues as static, but this psychedelic stew of rock and kaleidoscopic blues shows the medium can be progressive if bands sprinkle invention on it as well as this British outfit do.ʼ – Powerplay Magazine

‘With their love of everything that is Psychedelic… they have managed to explore the darkest depths of this musical genre that no-one ever knew existed’ – Fireworks Magazine

“The psychedelic melodies seep into the mind, lighting up the sky in a wonderful array of vivid colours. It’s a trip” 8.5/10 – Carl Fisher, Games, Brains & A Head-Banging Life
