DA: New Video – ‘Snake’

London heavy rock crew, DA, are gearing up to make their mark with the release of their self-titled debut album, DA, out Friday 10th April. The first taste of the record is their new single, Snake, which is out now.

Leaning into blistering guitars, powerful vocals, and a dark, atmospheric feel, DA bring together classic heavy-metal grit and a sharp modern edge in their new album, shaping a sound that nods to their roots while pushing into something fresh. Lyrically, the record moves through temptation, resilience, and rebellion.

DA crystallised in 2021 when former Desolation Angels guitarist Robin Brancher teamed up with vocalist Matt Oakman. The pair later brought in Neil Craddock on bass and Dan Smith on drums, completing the lineup and forming the backbone of the band’s writing sessions. From there, the four of them set about carving out the songs that would become their debut album.

Influences run deep, from the soaring power of Judas Priest, the weight and drama of Led Zeppelin, and the moody heaviness of Black Sabbath all playing a part in DA’s sound. Pounding rhythms, solid low-end, and detailed guitar work sit alongside big, memorable choruses to create something both familiar and fresh.

With their debut now ready to launch, DA are set to make a strong impression on the current rock and metal scene. The band’s approach is honest and straight-ahead, they focus on big performances, strong songwriting, and genuine passion for heavy music.

Album tracklisting: 1. Daisy Chains; 2. Higher; 3. Snake; 4. Pillars of Death; 5. Rock It; 6. Angles; 7. Forever Enslaved; 8. Spiralling Nowhere; 9. The Devils on My Side; 10. You Gotta Believe It.
