Don’t Panic Release New Album “For Your Consideration” On 17th April

Pennsylvanian rock favourites Don’t Panic are on the home straight, heading straight for the release of their brand new album! Their fourth studio album, wonderfully titled For Your Consideration, is set for release on the 17th of April. This includes a vinyl release through SmartPunk Records, but we will come onto that in a little bit.

Don’t Panic have been working towards the release of For Your Consideration for the last few months, and have been drip feeding tracks to their fans along the way. This includes the album’s lead single Honest, a fantastic blend of modern pop punk mixed with heartfelt American rock ‘n’ roll. It’s a wonderful hook into what is a great album, but don’t just take our word for it.

Honest can also be streamed on Spotify now. In addition to Honest, Don’t Panic have released additional singles from For Your Consideration – Conscience (check that out on YouTube here), Lifetime Away (listen here) and Calls From Home (enjoy here).

Just what is For Your Consideration all about? We had over to Don’t Panic frontman Ted Felicetti to go fairly deep into the roots of their new album:

“On our upcoming fourth studio album, For Your Consideration, we tried to lean into the tension that has always lived at the core of this band: the push and pull between youthful nostalgia and adult self-reflection. People know us for our energetic pop-punk roots and emotionally charged songwriting , but I think we sharpen both edges here. We tried to confront the idea of getting older in an industry that prioritizes youth, or call back nostalgia, but leave little room for what lives in between. The title is framed almost like a tongue-in-cheek awards submission, we. tried to explore the idea of performative living. Asking what it means to create, to age, and to stay relevant in a culture that constantly recycles the past. The songs move between self-deprecation, frustration, and defiance, and try to capture the feeling of outgrowing the very things that once defined us.

Sonically, the album condenses everything Don’t Panic has built since our formation; melding punchy, fast-paced arrangements with more deliberate, emotionally resonant moments.

At its core, For Your Consideration is about shedding old skin: rejecting the comfort of familiarity, confronting self-made failures, and choosing growth anyway. This is not just a continuation of our story. it’s a statement of intent.”

Plans are afoot for Don’t Panic’s return to the UK. While we cannot reveal anything just yet, it is very much a “keep your eyes” open, as news is not too far away….
