MYLES KENNEDY announces UK tour for December 2021

Acclaimed vocalist/guitarist MYLES KENNEDY (Alter Bridge, Slash Featuring Myles Kennedy And The Conspirators) is pleased to announce his return to the UK, with an eight date, full band, headline tour planned for December 2021.

Myles comments, “I’ve spent the last year dreaming of the day I would have the opportunity to return to the UK. That dream is soon to be a reality. I hope you can join the band and I as we return this December to play songs from ‘The Ides Of March’ and more. We’ll be making up for lost time by making this tour a very special one. Hope to see you there!”

Kennedy’s second solo album, ‘The Ides Of March’, was released in May via Napalm Records.

During his time at home due to all touring being cancelled, Myles created the framework for the song ideas that would make up ‘The Ides Of March’. He then called up his cohorts from his ‘Year Of The Tiger’ debut — Zia Uddin and Tim Tournier — and the three musicians drove to Florida to record the album with longtime producer Michael ‘Elvis’ Baskette.

From the slide guitar riffs of ‘Get Along‘ to the pensive blues of closer ‘Worried Mind’ by way of hit single ‘In Stride‘, it is clear that Myles has crafted a formidable follow up to his debut solo collection. While ‘Year Of The Tiger’ was more of an acoustic exploration through Myles’s mind, ‘The Ides Of March’ finds him strapping on his electric guitar and challenging himself as a guitarist and songwriter. Tracks like ‘A Thousand Words’, ‘Wake Me When It’s Over’ and ‘Moonshot’ showcase the diverse musical arrangements that have garnered Myles fans globally across all of his projects. The epic title track ‘The Ides Of March‘ clocks in at over seven minutes, and resoundingly displays the extraordinary musical chops of all involved.

“Merging lyrical nonchalance with the instrumental buoyancy of country and the emotional rawness of blues makes for a powerhouse of sanguine musicality. Keep a ladder handy so that you can retrieve your socks from a nearby telegraph wire when you’re done.” – Classic Rock

“One of the most technically proficient vocalists in modern rock… as soon as Myles’s honey-coated, burnt-oak tenor massages itself into your ears, your head will be nodding along.” – Metal Hammer

“There’s only one word to describe this album and that is ‘sublime’.” – Powerplay
