Circus Caravan is an alternative rock band from Athens, Greece. The band have just released a new stop motion video for ‘Cabo da Roca’, taken from their debut album ‘Scattered Sketches’.
“The inspiration for Cabo da Roca came during our trip to Portugal. There, at the famous cape, the westernmost point of Europe, we felt far from the everyday life stress of the city (city’s lights), the superficial relationships and in general the human activity but, at the same time, close to our truest selves.” – Circus Caravan
Cabo da Roca is taken from the album Scattered Sketches, released on May 14th, 2020.
Friends and brothers came together back in 2013 to play some tunes and they still continue. Rock, indie, alternative, you name it, the ingredients for Circus Caravan’s music. In 2017 the band released debut EP; “Chapter 0”. In 2019 Circus Caravan organised the first “Mixtape Sessions” festival in Athens, Greece, with the support of various Greek cooperatives.
Earlier this year, the band released debut full length album; “Scattered Sketches”. The album finds its substance in its very title, as the songwriting was intermittent, combining various music influences, always from an alternative point of view.
